Where to drink
Kava 37
The best coffee in town with the nicest people serving it. Great for coffee to go on your way to the beach. If you are lucky enough to arrive when Marko is there, you can also hear some historic facts about Hvar if you feel curious and ask.
Teraza
Situated above the Arsenal on the terrace next to the theatre entrance, probably the most beautiful spot in town with magnificent views over the main square.
Kalavanda Music Bar
Fashionable bar with great cocktails and lovely outdoor terrace on the stairs next to the market.
Tours
Off-Road Quad Sightseeing Tour
Don't miss the opportunity while you are on the island to discover all hidden gems.
Enjoy breathtaking Mediterranean island horizons with a local tour guide who will tell you the most interesting stories about the city and the island of Hvar!
Daily Trips
I would suggest to start by taking old road toward village of Brusje. This village is 6 km from Hvar, and some 400 meter above sea level. Area between Brusje and Velo Grablje (village after Brusje) is known for Levander fields, and very nice view on both sides of Island.
Saint Rocco Chapel is a nice view point to stop and admire view toward Stari Grad bay, and field behind Stari grad.
Stari Grad field is Unesco protected site as it has best preserved antique greek cadastral division, as well as millennial continuous use of field for agricultural use.
Head toward vidikovac Levanda.
After that you will descend toward Stari Grad.
Konoba Bogo (restaurant) Vrbanj
Close to the winery Brothers Plancic and winery Pavicic Vina

Roughly, idea is to see some of Hvar island viewpoints, towns, villages. Swim in nice secluded coves, have some nice vine tastings, and finish with pre-booked peka late lunch/dinner.
Beaches
Jerolim Beach (Pakleni Islands)
Quiet nudist island also known for it’s gay beach on the west side of the island facing Carpe Diem Beach Club on Stipanska.
Mlini and Zdrilca beach (Pakleni Islands)
One of the most beautiful beaches in Hvar but tends to get overcrowded with boats in July and August. Still worthy exploring.
Vlaka Sv Klement (Pakleni Islands)
Past Palmizana, a recluded small village on Pakleni Island worth exploring. Visit The Fisherman’s House for lunch or overnight stay
Carpe Diem Beach Club (Pakleni Islands)
Quiet exclusive beach club until late afternoon when after beach party starts until aprox 10.00 pm.
Falco (In town beaches)
A beach (rocks with sun-beds) at the end of the west walk passing Amfora Hotel and Hula-Hula. Quiet place with amazing view on sunset serving food and drinks. 20 min walk from the main square of Hvar.
Soline beach Vrbovska (Out of town)
By car. You have a choice of more family crowd on the south side or more quiet place facing the cost of Croatia (on your left side upon arriving) called beach Kamenjara.
South side of the island
There are some very nice beaches on the south side of the island but you will have to go through the narrow Pitve tunnel going to Zavala or take the macadam road that is being built just after Dubovica. Other option is renting a fast boat.
Taxi and Rent
Rent a Speedboat / Taxi boat / Sea Transfer
